Environmental Sop in SOTU

Bush just mentioned the hydrogen car. Of course, noone bothers noticing that in order to make hydrogen, you need to produce electricity. In order to produce electricity, you need to produce energy. Since the ecoweenies barf a lung anytime someone mentions nuclear power, and since the ecoweenies barf a lung anytime someone mentions coal, and since ecoweenies barf a lung anytime someone builds a dam, guess what form of energy will be used to produce hydrogen? I'll give you two guesses--it's a three letter word that starts with O and ends with L.

Who repealed the Laws of Thermodynamics? That is what it will take to make fuel cells useful....

L

Owls? They're going to burn owls to produce hydrogen? Seems kind of wasteful to me.

You don't really know what your talking about. Back when Clinton was in office we discovered that green aglae produces a high amount of hydrogen when placed in a vacume like inviroment (a domed area over a patch of algea floating in the ocean). We also discovered it would esy to hareness this hydrogen and through this bio-chemical reaction make a ever lasting resource. When GWB took office he supposidly cut frunding to this research to make way for research in big air "scrubbers" for coal plants (which would only cut emmissions by 20% useless in my opinion). Now all of a sudden he's for it?!? I think he just replaced the previous liberal free energy researchers with a bunch of profit hungry ones and decided. Ok let's monopolise this resource before Europe or Austrialla does. (Austrialla already has hydrogen powerd cars and has since the 80's.)
