HBO has a good movie on tonight about a Cuban trumpeter who defects to the US. It's pretty rare to see hollywood types to talk about cuba in anything other than fawning tones. It stars Andy Garcia, who is Cuban, which explains a lot. Not that there is anything wrong with that. He probably understands more than Babs what it is really like on that benighted island.
